13th World Conference - 2nd Message from the President, ICEVI

Dear Colleagues:
I did tell you when I posted my last message on the subject of the 13th World Conference and the civil unrest in Thailand that the Principal Officers would make a decision and post it here on or before May 3rd. However, I am afraid I must ask for the indulgence of a few additional days to arrive at that decision.
The Principal Officers with input from the full Executive Committee are currently working very hard to gather and analyze information regarding the current political unrest in Thailand and its likely implications in the weeks and months ahead. We ask for your patience for a few more days as we try to look at as many factors as possible in arriving at a decision that is based upon the very best advice and information available to us at this time.
We will make that decision on or before Friday, May 7th and we thank you for your patience and understanding.
