Many of the materials published by ICEVI can be found on our website in the versions adapted for the World Wide Web. In cases where we consider the original layout of the documents as equally important for our visitors and members of ICEVI, we offer the PDF equivalent of the publication in question.
In order to read documents in PDF format you need to obtain and install a freely-downloadable program called Acrobat Reader, if you don't already have it on your computer. The Acrobat Reader can be obtained by visiting www.adobe.com and looking for the download/installation information there.
If you are a visually impaired user and use screen reading software, you will benefit very much by getting the alternative "accessibility-enabled" version of Acrobat Reader from access.adobe.com. For download/installation instructions also look there.
Once you installed Acrobat Reader, you are now able to read PDF documents. If you found such a document on our website, you can either

To open the PDF document directly in your browser, simply focuss on the link to that document and either double-click or press ENTER to activate the link. Please note that all PDF documents on our website will open in a new window so that your original page still stays on the screen.
Also be aware of the size of the PDF document when attempting to download or read it. the size of the document will always be specified together with the information about it anywhere on our website.
To go back to the page that you came from either click on the "back" arrow on the tool bar of your browser or press ALT+LEFT_ARROW on the keyboard. Alternatively, you may use the navigation links in the left or bottom frames.
