
Nandini Rawal,
who is working as the Project Director of the Blind People’s Association in Ahmedabad, India is continuing for the second term
as the Secretary of ICEVI. Nandini’s
excellent management abilities enabled the organization to reach greater
heights in the last quinquennium and her continuation in the position would
strengthen the work of the Principal Officers and the Executive Committee.
Grace Chan,
Director, Hong Kong School for the Blind, in her capacity as the
Chairperson of the Sponsorship Committee of the 11th World Congress
was responsible for bringing a large number of delegates from the
developing countries for the recently
concluded world conference of ICEVI. Her
skills in generating and managing finance would multiply a large number of
ICEVI supported activities in the regions.
The gentle William G. Brohier is a house-hold name in ICEVI.
Bill has done much to contribute to ICEVI’s visibility within UN-ESCAP.
His continued service as the Past-President of ICEVI adds much wisdom to the
ICEVI think-tank.
The
Principal Officers along with the Secretary General are determined to make a
difference in ICEVI in the ensuing quadrennium.
The Principal Officers invite members to offer their professional
support and advise to make the ICEVI activities more meaningful to thousands of
children with visual impairment around the world.
